Hello again, please don't get fed up with my daily questions :)
When i set my alarm either the hazards flash and the horn beeps twice or just the hazzars flash twice. then the rel light on the dash goes erratic ans steadies to a slow flash. Either way the alarm goes off 20 min later...
If i close the doors and dont set the alarm the red dash light still starts flickering/flashing.
Can anyone describe what it shoud do?

Have you downloaded the Rave manual and checked if it is in there.

If the horn is beeping when you lock it, usually means "mislock" which means the 10AS is "seeing" a door/bonnet as open.

Check the door, bonnet and rear door switches are present and work. They often corrode badly, sometimes the wires come off the back of the switch and short on the bulkhead.

If the alarm is going off later I would suspect its a dodgy connection on the door sensors.
 
Its not seeing the door is closed due to the missing door switch, there should be no horn sound when locking or unlocking.

Other issues I have experienced with my XS alarm are bonnet alarm switch bracket needed bending up a little, door locks not locking correctly in really cold weather, WD40 squirted behind door lock pop ups sorted it, indicator operating when locking but not when opening, this was fob battery low, ok after changing battery.
