Howdy

I think I may need to change my water pump, as cooling system seems to playing up. I have been told by my un-trustworthy mechanic, that I should change another related part at the same time (thick local Spanish accent, and didn't understand exactly what part he was talking about).
Any ideas if whilst he has taken off the rad, and the fan what other part, related to the cooling system, he may be talking about??

Maybe the serpentine belt or the thermostat?

you should change water pump , thermostat and the pressure cap on the expansion tank , so you know most of the cooling system is new again and they all work . for a complete job add new radiator and clutch fan
