Hello all
A friend is looking at a Discovery td5 manual it has a warning light on the dash which is orange and looks like it refers to the rear suspension, however the car has springs not air bags, can anyone tell me what year the air suspension was introduced, and also if it was fitted and has been removed would a warning light be on?
Cheers Kev

it would be on if it was converted to coils and not set the ECU for that.

if it's on coils by factory that lamp could be only from ACE and then he needs a tester to read the fault code...or somebody played with tester on it and set it on sls... as a matter of fact the tester is needed anyway

is that warning with two arrows, one up/one down?

That was quick thanks, are we saying that it left the factory on air its a 1999? yes the light has one arrow up and one down.

Kev

for 5 seaters the air suspension was optional/spec related so it could have been both ways.... it needs to be set on coils with tester

Light with one arrow up and one down is the ACE warning light. Almost certainly a faulty sensor
