Hi there, i have just fitted a new alternator to my TD5 90, now there is oil leaking from what looks like the back of the vacuum pump. I have cleaned the oil off and run it down the road and there are no signs of leakage from the oil feed or return pipes, it looks like it is coming from between the pump and alternator?

Any Ideas?

Did you replace the lip seal? AFAIK it is not reusable...

have tried to find that seal for some time now! havnt got lucky yet, have 4 alternators working 100% except for leaking oil, any help would be great1
