Hi,
Has anyone fitted one of these gadgets that allow greater turbo boost?
I know without it,the ecu can go into limp mode if the boost is above 15psi,or so...
I'm told I need to increase the intercooler size to get best results, but I'm thinking of fitting one on its own,and screwing the wastegate link from 13 threads to 9...I've set it at 11,and noticed a bigger "shove " from the turbo, but want more...any ideas, please??
Thanks folks...

then you'll know that Alive do a Turbo Booster which is used in conjunction with adjusting thread length, a stage 2 remap & a large intercooler??? That boosts to 30psi

I wouldnt recomend setting boost at 30psi on a road going vehicle though. i do have booster box on mine and im running 20psi ish, with a larger intercooler, straight thru exhaust bas remap ect. and i does make a difference.

:D 2 bar=bye bye turbo :D

It will go like stink for a few thousand then the turbo will go pop and sound like a dentist drill from to much boost:p

I think they only run 30psi on competion vehicles but the adverts kind of fool you into thinking ooooh 30psi boost super power. but in the long run it would equal super £££ or maybe a hybrid turbo at £800. I had a mini with a full 1380 race engine that i used as a road car fast as f**k but the engine was only good for 6000 miles then it was rebuild time! was an awsome car though! But then i have seen 1293 turbo'ed A series engines runing at 22psi boost producing 220bhp!
