don't no how to check if the pressure is correct im more of a part time landy person.stick a welder and a rotten chassis in front of me and im a wizz lol

Okey Dokey,

If I was you I would start by checking the fuel rate at the FPR. As the High pressure side of the pump can fail but fuel willl still get to the FPR. I popped the fuel line off at the FRP and checked to see how much fuel ended up in a measuring jug over 10 secs of pump run time.
Fuel rates can be found in the Rave manual.

Crank sensor failure can also stop the motor running or low battery voltage.

Cheers

wouldn't a crank sensor fault show up on dianostics.
will check the fuel pressure over weekend

On cranking are you getting a reading from the crank sensor? iirc it should be reading 280 or so, but is a long time since I looked at it. Mine did give a fault every now and then on diagnostic, but it was not 100%, before it went kaput.

Cheers
