Morning chaps

I have to give the starter motor on my td5 a whack to get it going. Do I need replacement starter or is it just the solenoid?

Do you hear a click from the starter when you turn the key? Or silence?

It’s silent I think

If it's silent, check the little spade connector on the bottom of the starter motor. They often come loose or get dirty.

Gave it a wiggle, seems fine now! Must just be that. Thank you
