nostics said it was fine. Well, I thought. I have lived without it for years, so I just shrugged and put it on the back burner for maybe investigating, someday....
And then one day, the rear wiper stopped working - and cruise control
Hi @sierrafery , just to be clear, you measure de 14V in which wire? BG or BW? As soon as i arrive home this afternoon i will measure as well on my car.

I can confirm now there is 14V in the switch's disconnected plug pin 1 with engine running... a hint, it's hard to work with the retaining clip on the plug from behind as it was from factory, simply push it on through the slots from the front cos it clicks in place that way too and it's much easyear to handle

just confirmed that on my car there is no 14V on any wire from the cable…
Tried with ignition off and on…

Voltage should come from pin 35 of C0658(ECU black plug) only with ignotion on as in the diagram i posted you(the part circled in red is irrelevant cos it's for autos), i didnt check at the ECU, check there with a neddle inserted in the wire at the black plug with engine running, if no voltage against body you can't do anything else than change the ECU, there are cases when remapped auto ECUs are fitted without internal mod then that's it, the CC will not work whatsoever, if you have voltage there better run a direct wire to the switch's plug pin 1. . download this https://www.dropbox.com/sh/47hbz40a...5PoX6eFVLa?preview=Electrical+libary+03MY.pdf go to connector views and you can see the pin disposals if you want to check at C0294 too. eventually make a continuity test between switch pin 1 black/white wire and ECU pin 35 with connectors unplugged. Good luck

Hi, is there any way to find if the ECU is original from manual or auto transmission without the part number readable?

Hi,

just tested to connect 12V to pin 1 of clutch plug. No reaction at all…
Now only missing to push the ECU out and measure pin35 voltage…
I will try to do it tomorrow..

Mine is not really as shown in the pictures… but have the 44 pin chip… maybe this is a auto ECU on a manual
