Can't remote lock the car at work, worked when I left home, key IS working, any ideas why?

Thanks

Martin

Might be interference from a WiFi transmitter. Have you parked somewhere different today?

The transceiver is in the middle of the roof, try holding the key closer to there.

If it does work close up, then a call to OfCOM will get someone out to test for interference. Sometimes people install WiFi gear that uses a channel which isn't permitted in the UK.

Works standing by the B pillar, but not by the rear door, will bring an RF scanner to work tomorrow.

if you have sunroof leak the most obvious is that the roof receiver is gone... let's hope the alarm is set to ''always disarm with key'' or you can end up immobilised... get new(or known good) receiver asap, it's plug and play

I agree with sierrafery . Damp / condensation is a real killer to the remote receiver in the roof it's just to the passenger side in front of rear sunroof . Easy to get to . I took mine out opened it up and popped a little silica packet in after mine started playing up on damp days been fine every since . But I do now carry a spare just in case £50ish from LR

Have you got access to Nanocom?

No

It works perfectly now!

I will HAVE to get that roof leak sealed!

My car is in for a hub change tomorrow so will not be able to see if it does it again but I will be taking my scanner to work with me from now on.
