Hi Chaps, anyone got any recommendations / experience with aftermarket radiators for a td5 Disco 2?

My original one (EU3) has started leaking from what looks like the top passenger side where the screw for the plastic fan shroud goes through for some reason?!

Wouldn't mind going for an aftermarket alloy one, primarily for longevity as I've not got a problem with the cooling performance with the stock one, never goes over 93.

I've been looking at this one: LINK but am a bit wary it might be a Chinese special which wont last any longer than a 100 quid stock one from JGS

Has anyone ran one of these or similar? An Allisport one would be perfect but I'm not made of money!

Hi. That leak is very common on Td5 radiators, if that's the only problem it can be fixed with thread sealant on the screw and an o-ring between the rad and the shroud, you can improvise many ways to stop that leak IMO, though if you want a new aftermarket rad i recommend Nissens 64312A, that's a good one also i've seen good reviews for NRF 509729. Good luck

Excellent, I got a bit carried away and decided I wanted fancy new things before looking into if I can fix what I've got as usual!

I'll stick some sealant on the thread and if it solves it I'll probably hold off on the purchase

Thanks for the words of wisdom as usual
