Taken my rad out to wash out.
Find that the bottom teo tubes are for the diesel cooler. One of these has a small preformed hole of 2mm. The other is completely sealed and looks like never had any opening.
Is this correct.
Recently repaired my diesel cooler it was full of muck. And so were these 2 tubes this morning as look like never formed.
Ant thoughts?

Depends on what engine you have, see the flow diagrams

Hi. My engine is the pre.eu3 with two hoses / conections in this position.

Is it just as simple as drilling a hole to unplug the moulding or would the internals be different on the rad requiring a new one.?

Hi. Must admit to be a little confused.
The flow to the diesel cooler has a restrictor. There fore there must be a flow from the rad. On my rad the small pipe with a flow is not the bottom but the next one up.

Also it follows that the flow from the oil cooler is now blocked off by the fact that the new rad design has this tube blocked.

Am i understanding correctly?

Thanks for any help.

Might be an aftermarket radiator, connect the pipe from the fuel cooler to the port with flow and that's it, the oil cooler doesnt need flow on that line cos the later modells dont even have that pipe

Thank you.

Just seems odd the oil cooler gets no flow away from it.

Thats the same conclusion i came to.

Thank you very much.
