ive just fitted my engine only need to fit the radiator and little bits now but I pressed the clutch with very little to no brake and clutch fluid the pedals felt all spongy I told the person who’s helping me that the clutch bearing might of been pushed out cause of this but I thought if the engine was in it would be just like pressing clutch without engine started what do you guys think?

how did you lose enough brake fluid to effect the brakes , the clutch is understandable if youve disturbed the slave

I pulled the pipes out of master cylinder to gain access

out of both, in which case both need bleeding

YES I know that but the clutch bearing going out of place would this happen? Don’t want to pull engine back out again

its more you remove pipes id think, unless you have fluid dripping out of bell housing

My mate loosened a bolt on the slave cylinder to make sure it was working which I tightened up before pressing clutch
He told me to fill the pot up with fluid so it bleeds itself a little

bleed it and see how you go, if you want to know it works put box in the and jack a wheel up and turn it it wont turn if clutch isnt released will if clutch pedal is working

Going to get it started first as I had a deal if it starts by the 11th of December then it’s mine if not it’s “ours”
