Now proven as a complete anorak! Well, we haven't had a td5 mpg post for a while...
I have been keeping an occasional log of my MPG, and now taken note of 100 tankfulls (not every one, just when I remember). The car has been owned by me from new (6 years, 130,000 miles), and is well-serviced - partly by me and partly by my (excellent) local independant. I have BFG AT's at normal handbook pressures. No EGR mods...all standard.
MPG average is 30.65 mpg.
Best recorded is 34.51 (long motorway/dual carriageway journey).
Worst is 26.25 (trailer towing and town driving).
Not bad MPG for a big, old-tech 4x4, but a bit scary in this day and age of £1.30/litre - I just paid £110.90 for a full tank!
