Hi guys does anyone no of away to correct the mileage on a disco td5 with out main dealer?? hawkeye?? nanocom ect? i have a flashing milage counter :(

There is an option for 'Sync Odometer' with nanocom.

However, I can't make it work :-(

Plus, I wasnt very impressed with the reply I got from their tech guy over it - I don't want to be told "The source code has some limitations I think - I will check and get back to you" - and then not doing so. I didn't buy a 'beta' product (or at least, it wasnt sold as such!)

I changed the dash, so my new dash has a lower mileage than the correct one that the BCU still remembers. I can use nanocom to stop it flashing, but I can't seem to get Sync odometer to set the dash to the correct mileage from the BCU, so it now reads 40k too low (but at least it doesnt annoy me by flashing!)

The flashing counter could mean a fault .......U have to plug in a tester and scan the BCU......the menu of the scanner will lead U through

Thanks for the replies guys iv got access to a hawkeye and iv scanned the engine ecu and have a load driver 1 fault ?????? and load driver 1 fault active not sure what they are... have a left wheel sensor fault too its says broken wire i can clear that drive up road all fine untill hard right lock then on it comes so ill just change that sensor ... any idears?? cheers

We have reset a few BCUs mileage because of the flashing mileage problem, the few that we have reset have had a new wiring loom fitted, so i think when the loom bites the dust it must short out the pulse wire, the ones that we have look at the mileage in the BCU was always a little bit higher, Thanks

Annoyingly, I can stop the mileage counter flashing via nanocom, but the sync odometer option in nanocom still doesnt work, and Mattia is absolutely no help. I don't care how busy he is - if he can't provide adequate support he should hire someone else to help!
