hi folks and a happy new year to you all .. 2000 plate td5 runs loverly but run down motorway at about 90 ish wen you deacellerate then go to acellerate no power and a plume of smoke no revs at all ,pull over for a second and she goes back to normal any ideas many thanks

turbo on the way out.

Or a turbo hose gone. Check for hissing noise on overrun, find it and seal it.

poss it could be its got air in full supply or small hole in pipe which draws air had same prob in my 300 tdi
