Hi there!
Looking for a bit of guidance on the installation of a new rev counter to my (2000) TD5 defender in place of the old clock. I have read that there are two methods of installation by either..
Existing clock positive and earth to the new counter as well as a signal wire going to Pin 19 of the black plug on the ECU, (assuming using this crimp https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/products/6795048/ )
or
Running to the "w" connection of the alternator? (Same theory as the signal wire to ECU?)
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this?
Any help appriciated!
