Dummy Ejection Facilitator..
hi i have a 2005 td5 90 which i bought at 15000 miles at 19 i lost third gear and had it fixed it was a laser weld and today at 23000 miles second gear has gone and im totaly fed upim thinking of getting rid of it has anyone any ideas what i should do with the gearbox
Get a recon box?? what sort of abuse does ya 90 get? bixes don't usually give that much trouble unless yu got a duff one.
Just seen this from when I joined in 2009 and I did find out what was wrong with the defender I bought. It had been rolled down a hill and written off and bodged to make look pretty by a scrap yard in Wales then a land rover specialist bought it cheap and sold it to me as a straight low mileage vehicle so I sued the dealer and got most of the money back that I had paid and the judge let me keep the defender as well. So I got it fixed properly and rtv it every month without any problems. Just thought I would put an end to that thread.
