Hi everyone
TD5 Still having fuel pump problems, Whinning and bubbling as if air in the syestem. Purged in all ways possible, replaced fuel pump in the reservoir, changed the filters twice one Britpart, one Landrover genuine, blown compressed air down all fuel line, checked for leaks in hoses. So all that end is checked and bearing new parts. All that leaves is the engine side which is a bit beyond my knowledge.
The fuel regulator was replaced last year because of a fuel leak. apart from that I have not gone beyond.
Reading Landy Forums lots of different diagnosis, head hurts.
Something I read, was about the oil level being high and was related to injector seals in need of replacing. Just checking my levels and it is higher than I would normally fill it. can that be linked to my fuel pump problem???
I've done what I can and thought of everything to remedy the problem, now I need a mechanic who knows his Landy's.
The pump that I took out was a year old, and the filters mesh caked in black sludge.
