I was just thinking of buying a D2 for off rd to replace the 90 but if they're not so good then i'll stick with my 90

Not tried but in my view its probably not as good given the longer wheel base. try a cheap one.......

They have a shorter wheelbase than a 110 and there isn't many places that i can't take mine.

BoomerV8 is now using his D2 TD5 offroad he seems happy enough with the way it handles.

A DII is a pêrfectly capable off-road tool with it's 100" wheelbase it's smack in the middle of the two Defender sizes.

An auto TD5 is awesome off-road, always in the right gear with manual box functions if you prefer.

Lots and lots cheaper than an equivalent Def too!!!

Not really mate, having had a few and currently got 3 cars plus my bike I just can't see myself having another.

How about a straight swap for a D2 V8? (On LPG too.!) that way I get what I want (ie aTD5) & you get your V8 sound back??
