Hi all,

I was just wondering if it is possible to fit a pair of td5 front doors on a 300tdi defender. Mine have rusted through and thought i could go for an electric window upgrade while i have the excuse to change the front doors.

Thanks for your help!!

Got em on my 200TDi.
They were off a 3yo TD5 at the time and I got em for £150 the pair - bargain!

They're easy enough to fix, sp landrovers sell the bottom section for £10-15

Buy a TD5 pair with a rotten bottom rail that nobody bids on then weld them up

That's what I did , there's a busters how to on here somewhere

My dads handy with a welder, but the trouble is finding one's that are cheap enough, not twisted and haven't got corrosion on bottom skin, because once it starts, that's it, you're buggered

Why have you resurrected a year old thread just to ask a silly question? Here's a clue, read the title and the first post
