Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this, but........
Why would a garage, who shall remain nameless, who's done lots of work for a custom car friend, , who does all kinds of remapping believe they can remap my disco, but when they try cannot 'communicate with the ECU', despite their software listing the TD5 as one of its compatible cars. The guy then rang later after trying to find a solution, telling me he would have to remove the ECU & send it away to be remapped? That's not going to happen by the way.
Would it be a 'pc 'language problem' or just that he doesn't have the correct gear, although he professes to have remapped other TD5s?
