I have a standard single CD Radio as supplied new in my 2004 TD5 but I have seen that the CD installed into a Defender has an auxiliary input on the front for things like ipods. Does anyone know if they are a straight swap in terms of size and connections?

I'll reply to this myself in case it helps someone else. I bought a second hand Defender single CD/Radio with an aux input and it is a straight swap and the connections from the TD5 fit the same as does the CD/Radio in the existing hole without adaptation. The only thing is that the steering wheel controls do not work.
