Got a disco Td5 realised I had no brake lights at all, all other lights fine including reverse. Fuse is good, put a bulb on the switch above the pedal to bypass, lights and goes out when the fuse is taken out, bulbs are good. Therefore I'm presuming a fault between the switch and the light cluster although can't even work out the routing! !. Bit/ rather crap with motor electrics so is there any gubbins I'm missing. Also got three wires on the switch. Two outside ones light the bulb, left one to the chassis lights, but no the combinations. Help please. Otherwise I've gotta keep using the good ladies Mr2 rollerskate that's about an inch off the floor, crap on speed bumps not to mention I can't get in and out the poxy thing.

There is a blue electrical header on the left hand side of the dash directly beneath the heater blower, look for power on the green and purple wire going in and out. Then there is a grey connector on the left hand "A" post behind the kick panel again test the green with a purple trace in and out (this is the easiest to get to so test that first). Finally there is another header at the top of the left hand "B" pillar behind the head lining, this time it is wrapped in foam, test the green and purple in and two outputs again green with purple traces, after that the wire goes to the back lights.
