hi people just wondered if anyone can recommend a good battery for my Defender td5.. looking for at least 1000cca...

Yuasa are good - there are various models around that CCA - longer warranty would appear to mark the quality of each version. I bought one with a CCA around 1000CCA last year - there is their cargo version which is as the name suggests a commercial grade, these are pretty good, the next one is their black I think, which is 5 year warranty. I always just get a good brand and as big a battery as I can fit. I have a HUGE plant battery that I would love to put into the 90 but the battery box is too small!
 
I replace my 13 year old original Landrover battery in my TD5 with the same like for like battery from Landrover, cant fault them.
 
I know this is an old thread but just ordered my new battery for the tratter! Cheers for the recommendation, looks good, can't wait to see the difference!! :)
 
I’ve 2 019 batteries in the under seat battery box, both 950cca. Starts on the first touch of the key

I hope you can fit 2 easily. I've just bought the 1st one today!!
