Guys, I know this issue has been discussed at length on many forums around the world... I have read quite a few of them. M&S flashing and limp mode.

So, what know - no turbine speed measured sesulting in the stall speed monitor P0722 fault.
TC is OK, did the test 2600rpm.
XYZ switch is OK, no water ingress, contacts good and aligned correctly.
Gearbox oil and filter changed x 3
Oli cooler and pipes flushed and cleaned.
Valve block serviced.
Valve block replaced
Wiring harness checked - OK.
EAT changed (tried 4 different ones from the same year)

What have I missed?

And that "specialist" didnt know what's about? Important is to use a dedicated tester which can interogate the autobox ECU directly(if it was hawkeye it's OK) not some generic tool which plugs in and shows codes just like that... if the code was retrieved with proper scanner it means "P0722 - torque convertor slipping", you can double check that with a stall test:

Sorry for the late reply. I did the stall speed test on the TC, 2600 RPM so that seems OK.
Nanocom reported no output from the turbine shaft. (wasn't a hawkeye).
I get a 320 ohm reading from the speed sensor. Not sure what it should be, but it seems to be working.

Update.... The bolt holding the output shaft worked loose by about 20mm. This caused the speed sensor ring to move out of alignment, hence the turbine speed reading zero.
So while the transfer case is off it creates an ideal opportunity to change the seals, redirect the aircon drain pipe, tidy up the wiring and fit a diffloc leaver (home brew).
