UniPol Etch and Raptor 50psi at shoots gun. Pics are straught after first coat application, so glossy, will dry matt / satin. I almost forgot how stinky it its until i took my mask off lol!
love working with Raptor, easy to apply and like the finish, i specifically want rough texture, soo i will be doing the truck, gun metal tintable raptor with the black checquer plate, this is just a tart up, bonnet is gonna get it soon anyway so for now it all gooda ! and decided to just buy a new bumper and raptor that, much less hassle than trying to rub down my rusty one.

Have a few drying room type heaters (long white cylinders) and a fan going in workshop to try help fully cure, odd sutff changes colour goes a bit blue when drying then back to black again.
POXY EPOXY does not like cold, the applicaiton was withinthe temp tolerances for the product, just means S L O W.....

Hmmm looks familiar :p

Excellent work, looks really good.

I need to blast and repaint most of my bits now. 5 years daily on the road has started to show!

Yep just a repaint, same as before but with raptor instead of sheite stone chip!
Only a temp thing, and chance to play with new compressor, new bumper soon and steering guard, wider arches, new shocks n springs, then the clutch......
New portable daylight, light bars are fine but the casing just corrodes, but they cheap and they bwight as fook!

Done, Sensor is designed to be fitted as below, to a coolant exhaust / waterhose on a marine engine) Range is -20C to 150C, popped a bit of shrink wrap along length of the sensor wire, actual sensor is metal.

FFS Throttle Potentiometer fix.
Did not knwo this was a TD5 common 'thing', anyway flats spots on throttle then lost throttle, MIL light on but engine running.
All points to wire chaffing somewhere, so considering i have the attention span of a kitten on cocaine, so dont play nicely with broken wire tracing,
I decided to just knock up my own jump loom, after mucheos researcheos seems the thing to do. not keen on chomping the ecu wires, so decided to make it a full clean install and orginal wiring left intact just disconnected, so reversable if one day i decide to trace the brake.
So crimped on ecu females to the jump wire and switched them out ont he Black ECU plug.
Cue A team music, roll ups, john smiths, and my best 'leave me alone' look to the dogs and mrs I set to it.
