Don’t forget brake calipers stick on a lot of vehicles, so worth checking. Also check for diesel leaks at the filter end and around. Unlikely i know.
I get 19mpg on an auto with lots of stuff like winch, snorkel, full rack, full boot, 245/75 MTs. So something is amiss for sure.

Ok so ive done some testing, snorkel made no difference to mpg was in my head, was doing about 50 miles before filling back up at the same pump. I did find my rear tyre were at 20psi for some reason, put them back up and i also had my actuator rod a bit to short so was over-boosting slightly, lengthened that and fixed that, my mpg is now upto a whooping 20mpg.. thats 50/50 motorway and around town, i think i could probably get to 25 if i didnt drive with a lead foot, i always seem to get terrible mpg in any car. So i think its healthy? im thinking maybe clean out the intake as its abi gunky, clean the IC (if its easy to come off?) but the intake takes look good so not sure if thats worth my time. Also ive bashed it off road pretty hard (managed to bend the front bar thing under the bumper lol) so im guessing an alignment wouldnt go a miss either, not sure how much they affect mpg to be honest as my other road cars i keep on top of that stuff.

Hopefully with this ill see 25 on a run which I would be very happy with! Otherwise its going to be an expensive trip to Ukraine after I get drafted...

My disco does seem to naturally slow down fairly quick from 70 but unsure if this is just the fact its a brick, so ill have t o jack up all 4 corners and check by hand its free at some point
