Hi, I have a TD5 110 double cab with a HD galv chassis (ex mod special vehicles). The person i bought it off put a 2" lift kit on but its very sloppy and I'd like to return it back to stock height. This leads to a few questions...

- What suspension set up to go with (Make & Type)?..... (I can't afford top of the range but I def want avoid britpart).
- I've read stuff good stuff about the standar springs but am getting confused on the colour markings and what they are for, feel free to shed light on this as well.
- Any jobs worth doing whilst I am changing the suspension?

Thanks

The general consensus is that springs are one thing that Britpart does well, I have standard height Britpart ones on mine and I'm quite happy with them

I have just replaced my tired but standard LR springs with Britpart standard springs. I also fitted Terrafirma big bore expedition dampers. It has transformed what was a very wayward ride to one that is now quite composed even when the roof rack is loaded with boards and kayaks. My missus finds it a bit harsh but I think its how a LandRover should be:)

Britpart springs are OK. I've had mine on for about a year and a half with no problems. While you're at it you might as well have a look at the various bushes in the suspension system too. I re-bushed at about the same time and fitted new shocks too and the roadholding has been much firmer and tighter. I might want to steer away from Britpart bushes and shock absorbers if I were you, but for the latter there are a good many decent mid priced brands to choose from like Terrafirma, Monroe etc.

Thanks all, it seems britpart springs are better then I thought.

I have achance of getting a set of new take off from a 110 tdci, anyone know what these are like? (Yellow/Yellow front & Purple/Brown rear)
