Though all the reply’s posted are common sense

I was looking for an expert to show me what I could do, in a similar vein the off road course that I did. We drove up and down a hill using various methods and along a slope tipped over so far that I thought I would fall out of the window.

I do not see the need to find out by experimentation things that I could be safely trained to do.

Reckon if you talk to your local council, constabulary or utilities co they are bound to use specialist trainers for the 4x4's in their fleets, and they will be contractors these days so might be open to offers?

Years of punting around in a Defender gives you a good sense of when to ease off, but probably with a few scares along the way.....

I think full blooded emergency stop from 70 is one of the most 'entertaining' - boy does that weight move about with tyre squirm, road variations, momentum ....... quite a wrestling match and as good a reason as you'll get to keep you attention up!!
