Hello Earthling :) . . . . . .well done changing injector ,that is a very hard job. . . .or do you mean glow plug ? . . . .

yeah was the injector what a b*****d it was, it said it was only a three spanner job in the haynes lol. used the sliding hammer trick. :)

nice one ,as i know how difficult it is . . . .reet as they are normally changed in sets ,this is wot to do slap a load er injector cleaner in your tank ,check youve changed your fuel filter , and run on tick over for 15mins ,the td4 is self prime-ing , but as yer fitted an injector [with a bleed off system] its possible to have air on the last part of fuel rail [high pressure] take it for a run , like running in a new engine, it will slowly pick up . . . .:)

I Have Put Injector Cleaner In And A Full Tank Of Fuel. I Had Left The Fuel Pipe Unions Off Over Night So It Could Be Air In The System. I Haven't Changed The Fuel Filter Though Is This A Must?

Why did you change the injector, had it lost a cylinder. The white smoke is unburnt fuel and normally a pump timing or compression issue.

Well the reason a say it earthling. . . .is yer got a plastic tank un jector cleaner rakes the ****e outer it, un it wood be a shame to cause same or nuffer injector to go for the sake of a new filter. . .:)

I Knew It Was The Injector Cos I Had Just Booked It In For An Mot And As You Know, Something Always Goes Wrong. That Afternoon I Drove Home And The Engine Light Came On And Was Loosing Power. So I Got A T4 Test And It Came Back Injector 1 Was Buggered. I Paid 45 For Mot And 45 For T4 Test Then They Wanted Another 300quid For Injector Change So I Decided To Do It Myself.

Came across the thread in a seach for 'judder'. Is your td4 a diesel? I have no warning light, but should I take it for a td4 computer test anyway as you did - or is not likely to deliver any results yet?

Ignore my last question. After taking my hubby to the train station he has deduced that I'm just not driving it properly and its not actually a fault with the car...typical. Just need to put my foot down apparently!
