hi i have a freelander1 td4 auto i have done the thermostat mod in the top house when the car is ticking over the coolant will not circulate and heater is cold but when driving at gets hot

Did you bleed it? Middle right top of engine bay, two heater hoses one has a bleed plug.

Warm up, bleed, repeat, too up etc.

Did you insert the stat correctly, I.e. with the bulb towards the engine ??

Inserted the correct way I will try bleeding it again as it worked for two minutes then stoped cerculating when cold

The brass pit facing in to engine I took it out and it circulated again

I think I will just leave it out. I will just where gloves & coat / LOL ��
