I've done a quick forum search but haven't quite found the same problem yet;

From cold, idle is a bit lumpy for a couple of minutes but drives off ok and then starts fine. Not a major problem but a bit embarrasing as I've only just got it (Dealer obviously warmed it up before I test drove it ;))

Will it damage anything if I ignore it?

I am thinking fuel filter, injector cleaner etc anyone else had similar?

Same problem on my 2004 td4. Starts like a truck, injectors are to blame as far as i know tried some kleen flo injector cleaner and it improved a lot

Thanks for replies. Might have a point with plugs - I left ignition on for longer than usual before cranking and it seemed a little better but maybe the system doesnt work that way and it was just my imagination.

Thankfully mine is not too bad at the moment, a dab of throttle to bring the idle up abit and all is well but car has now gone back for investigation due to rumble and vibration at speed...welcome back to Land Rovers!
