:) I get about 450 miles to a tank of fuel, probably get more but I like to fill up before the little orange light comes on...

Not sat and worked it out but 'spose its about 40mpg.

hello
my free manual td4 2004 : 8.5l /100 km = 33 mpg !!!

i dont unterstand why is so high!

very soft ride on road 50/60 mph not city
maf sensor new
air filter new
egr : remove and swap by a bypass!
injector : test by landrover and are ok!

any idea ?

how much is your rpm when you change gear ? is to low rpm (2000) when you change gear can affect millage ? 5 years of road whith fench hdi with gear change at 1500-2000 tr max normal use for hdi is difficult to forgot!

thanks

would be happy at 33 mpg. my td4 auto will do 33/34 on a good motorway run with a clear roof. round town with ladders on roof and a boot full of tools and spares get around 27 mpg (air con always on)

My 2003 TD4 Manual does 40mpg all the time. To and from work, long runs, whatever I do it does 40mpg - Or about 540 miles to a tank.

Cheers

Hi,
My 03 TD4 does 33mpg on normal to and from work days and gets approx 25 towing a 1.3 ton caravan.

High thirtys in genaeral use on our 2002 TD4. Tend not t use the aircon much.

Have you checked the typre pressures? We run ours at 32psi, and extar two over the manufacterers recommendation. Doesn't comprimise handling, doesn't make ride too firm but reduces rolling resistance thereby saving fuel!

Cheers

We run ours at 32psi

I tried 32psi after reading posts on here and found the ride too hard and had some mild vibrations. Dropped to 30 psi all round and feels much better. Didn't notice any difference with mpg...

Cheers

My 03 TD4 Auto is 31mpg in & out to work & about 39 - 40mpg on a run at 50 - 60mph. The manual ones are rated 5-6mpg better, quite a big difference.
