Hi,
My 2003 Freelander TD4 sometimes seems to lack power. It seems to only happen when cold although not 100% sure about this. It is also only temporary and clears itself. I can still hear the turbo working when this occurs. It just feels quite unresponsive although if you really press the throttle down the car does accelerate. Just feels very sluggish and you have to give much more throttle input to achieve acceleration.
I have also noticed that sometimes when pulling away or accelerating from very low speed, there is a brief period (half a second) where the engine does not respond to the throttle input. Not sure if this is a separate issue as the 2 things don't seem to coincide always.
Any ideas please??
thanks
Rob
