Ok..
I know the manual has different injectors to the auto..
and I know the R 75 CDTI Injectors are again different.
My Question.
If I stuck the Rover 75 CTDI Auto Injectors into my M47R Freelander 2003 Pre Facelift SWB 4x4 Light Commercial - Any Ideas what I would expect from a performance and economy point of view?
Cheers.

Try it. If they are a higher flow capacity, then it'll potentially make it more powerful.

I would be more conserned about the damage if it was slightly longer. Check all dimentions first then worry about performance

Very tempted.... I'm sure i read on here some last year, that it was a bad Idea and it would run like a pig!

Length..... the head and block I'm running are actually from the Rover 75 CDTI - so the length shouldn't be a problem
The over fuelling.... thats thet thing that I would be concerned about, but hoped as the Freebie has the VNT turbo, wouldn't the vnt give more air - especially as the turbois bigger than the Rover one - therefore balancing out fuel Vs' air ?????
I know some people state that the car would need to be remapped.... anyway.... keen to know if someone has actually tried... as the freebie I have is driven by my Fiancee everyday for work.. and I don't want it dying on her....

Not up to scratch on turbo and fuel things but iam sure someone with answeres will be on soon;)

The TD4 runs generally quite lean. This is why adding a Synergy makes so much difference. On the upper power settings, the Synergy just bungs in more fuel. The engine responds by making more torque. I think mine is up to almost 300 Nm in its current state.
So I can't see a slightly different injector making much more smoke than a Synergy on max.

I think you will find that they fit ok and no damage should occur, and visa versa, but never mix the injectors ie a couple from the R40 and a couple from FL which I suspect you know already, performance maybe a little better, but economy I think it's a case fit try and test, you may also find it better to add new air filter, clean EGR or block it off as some do, clean out the manifold, and also clean the MAP sensor, make sure intercooler hose is good and not bloating or gone soft, if you combine those the FL should run good
