Hi I have a td4 05 reg with no 1 injector problem my injector ends in 049 and want to know if a injector from a rover 75 td4 injector ends with 030 with work or are they not compatible I've do a search but can't find info thanks

When I needed to replace one of mine, I was advised by a place that refurbishes injectors that you always replace like for like…

Those last 3 numbers denote application, 049 is for the Freelander with a manual gearbox. Where as 130 is for the auto.

Hope this helps.

Cheers neiltd4 that's what I thought just the later was a little cheaper well I found someone to refurbish mine for £85 look like I best get it whipped out to repair

It turned out tone £108 as they had to get a part from Bosch in germanybut sorted the problem I used diesel solutions in peterlee big thank you

Last year picked up a LHD 2003 TD4 manual three door that had been Tropicalised noticed it lacked a little grunt low down but was much more responsive at higher motorway speeds and was returning 36mpg urban 47mpg autopista.

When removing manifold for cleaning happened to look at injector tops 30s instead of 49s runs perfectley and passed Spanish ITV easily when I changed reg in March

old thread... but similar question... I have 2 injectors going down.... my part numbers end in 785 983.
now according to "some" posts... these are not the right ones for a 2003/2004 TD4 M47R Engined Manual SUV Open Freebie....
or are they????? i have a full set of rover 75CDTI Injectors and I'm NOT willing to try them as I know they aren't compatible..... - or... should I at least take it for a spin with them in??? I'm told the power in a freebie with Rover Injectors is garbage and they make the engine run as flat as a fart!!

ignore me.... there are two Part numbers on my injectors..... 049 are the ones fitted.... i should learn to open my eyes in future!!
