Well, after some 4 years owning a 06 TD4 freestyle auto its going tomorrow in px for a 61 freelander 2 SD4 HSE auto.

Whilst the td4 has at times cost me money overall its been a great car and survived several northern Scotland winters without as much as a slip.

Hers to hoping the new one will be just as good, or even better as its costing me enough !!

The FL2's are bloody darn good in the winter, SD4's are lovely to drive too, had one for a few days a few months ago and didn't want to give it back!

Brought the new one from a local Honda dealer. Managed to haggle a bit and think the salesman got a bit of a kicking for giving me more than his boss wanted.

The td4 had done 103000 miles so only just run in, however I got the normal "oh it's done more than the average mileage and over 100k. I ended up accepting £4k plus a few bits for the new one.

Very pleased with the new one so far, much more refined and responsive and getting about 40mpg according to the trip computer. :)
