my fully serviced td4 with egr buypass & new intercooler hoses continues to do my head in with its flat spot hesatation which only happens sometimes also i notices the fuel compsumption has got worse so i thinkin about fittin a rover ron synergy 2e + non bosh maf
do you guys think this will end my problems & give much improved performance/ drivability/economy & caravan pulling power at the same time

Been running synergy 2e for 2 years + pierburgh maf, and have found the car drives better around town (less gear changing). Also using it on the medium torque setting I have had 42 mpg. on a run, but that was doing 60mph. Before I changed the maf the car easily stalled, if you do decided to change the maf you will need the special torx socket. As for your flat spot that could be something totaly unrelated to the maf.

the question is do i have a synergy 2a or 2e

if there's no diff. on insurance premium ..
go for the 2a with pierburg maf ..

( cause you can get economy with the 2a as well )
