Hi guys....
Looking for a little bit of advice. I have a 2002 td4 and it sounds as though the exhaust manifold has a blown gasket. Is there a guide on best method on how to replace them..... is it easier from top or underneath. Any help would be appreciated.

More likely to be gasket between turbo and exhaust get at it from nearside wheel arch 3 socket extensions gets to nuts

can you get to both nuts from wheel arch

you could drop the engine by putting it on a jack but with a piece of wood between as the sump is alloy and then undoing the engine mountings and then droping it a bit for easier excess

@teddywood1 bit out of my skill range ill try again tomorrow with the old ratchet again if not get the garage booked
