Well we got the gaylander back, been running it for a couple weeks or so, had to take it back as there was a pulley noise and a parking sensor playin up, 'some much on the belt' was the reply to the noise, and 'we didn't do anything to the back' about the sensor! what muppets.
The pulley has now been changed, and so too the sensor.
There is still a 'whirring' noise from the engine somewhere, steering pump??
strange all this as they swapped all the bits from the seized lump to the good used one.
another thing, now the autobox doesn't quite operate as it did before the engine swap (they changed the fluids in the box)
It now revs inbetween gears, and changes at different revs to before.. any ideas on this?
BTW still haven't received the invoice from them.. hopefully never will
