hi kenners - check out my rather amateurishly titled 'blue pipe' thread - that covers it. FYI a guy from LR Technical Support suggested that I just unplugged it and left alone - seems to have had some effect on the low down grunt but not a great deal to be honest

Hi. Just got an EGR bypass valve today. Is it difficult to fit & what do I do with the vacum pipe when I disconnect it from the ERG valve? Is there anything else I need to do when I am fitting this?
Many Thanks. You are all great for advice

Hi David
Just put in a self tapping screw in the end of the pipe to seal it and all i did was to coil the pipe up and tie it out of harms way and out of sight of nosey mot`ers all the rest is self explanatary worth the effort though mine runs much better

Many thanks. Will try to get it fitted on \Saturday. Will let you know how it goes. Looking forward to the improvement in performance.

I fitted EGR By=Pass to my TD4 and after day or so the engine makes a whinning sound after I switch it off as if a motor was spinning free and slowing down. Any ideas? At first I taught it was the tubro slowing down but dont think that is is.Am confused

I know, why don't you hit every thread you can find on the subject with the same question ?

Oh sorry, you already did that.
