Hi I have owned a 52 plate td4 3 door for about a month now and am realy enjoying driving this great land rover, problem is the clutch pedal seems to be trying to push my foot up, if waiting at lights for example, as if the spring is to strong, apart from this it works fine, (bite is a little low though).

i dont know the problem but if you find out will you let me know i have the same problem 2004 td4
cheers

Hi Hopper, seems we are the only two with this problem, if it is a problem, best to just live with it and see what happens , will let you know if it gets worse.

I have always found that the Freebie has a strong clutchspring. It has not changed in 3 years. I find that if you are waiting about pull her out of gear and but the Hbrake on. Or get yerself down to the gym and build up them legs.

Mine is just the same, get cramp in my leg waiting at lights, :D

Feels like the clutch on the old Seddon Atkinson 401 I used to drive.

Yep, mine is the same, very heavy.

Saying that though, after the problems I had with the pedal sitting on the floor recently, I'm not going to complain too much.
