Pressure bleeding is still the way to go. There a many kits on the market to do the job, but you might have trouble finding one that has a cap that matches the Freelander master cylinder thread. However as the MC is a throw away item, you should be able to adapt an old cap with a suitable fitting for the bleeding kit.

Good thinking @Nodge68 ! I'm going to replace the master cylinder, I wish I could find a metal, robust MC, but there you go!
