Reading the paper the other day and apparintly 50% more energy is used in the production of a single car than it produces in its life time asuming that it has a 8 year life span. and taking in to account the more complex and more parts that are used in cars these days, and the more fule efficint that the cars are becoming this is only gonig to get worse.
Sounds like the tax man wants to get his calculator out and work out who he should be handing huge tax bills.

Whell i thort that mass debating was one of the idas of a forum!
hello people.
i agree with all of you but this has started from parents driving there kids to school in there 4x4's and other people had started to complaint.about this taxing £1800 is maddness. yeh if it happen think of the people owning 4x4's yes it will stop then but only if you cannot afford it.but what about the other people business i.e 4x4's garage's shutting down because people not buying because of the tax on the 4x4. IF IT DID HAPPEN I KNOW I COULD NOT AFFORD IT.and i would have to stop rebuilding back together. many thanks .
