just wondering about the plastic elements in the interior mine have faded quite a bit and i was wondering if back to black bumper stuff would be a good idea to freshen them up or would your hands end up covered in black every time you touched it or is there a better solution?

Try shoe polish it's better than back to black, I use it on bumpers

Wouldn't shoe polish stain your hands, clothing or anything else that rubbed up against it?

Nah, she'll be right. Just clean your hands on the sawdust you pour into the gearbox to quieten it down and punt it on to the next mug.

Autoglym do a black dye in aerosol which brings things up nice and doesn't see to transfer. Just need to mask where you don't want it.

apparently brake fluid works a treat on black vinyl

Since the plastic is made of oil..use an oily rag first and wipe it down afterwards. You'll be surprised

WD40 or similar is quite good.

I've never really got it anywhere other than the bumpers lol but yes probably could stain!

Never had an issue with back to black coming off on my hands. Does a good job on plastics and rubber, use a toothbrush on knobbly surfaces.
