overdrive and transfer box leaking like seive, tried gearbox stop leak with no luck.

Then thought as its running 20w50 engine oil I should dry the stop leak for that. got a whole can and put that in along with about the same again of 20w50- gives you an idea of how much it was leaking.

anyway went for a 10 miles thrash to warm it all up and checked it this week , so 5 days later and maybe 1 drip under the car instead of the usual pool.

so is it:

A. it worked, swelled up all my seals how they should be and all is now well.

B. it all leaked out so much faster (as its thinner) on the drive it all came out before I got home.

C.it worked but will fail imminantly due to either lack of lube from the stop leak replacing oil or massive sudden oil loss. :D

ive used this kind of thing before, used wynns and seemed to work fine-as stated after a good run for the additive to mix/work

Thanks buddy, This will save me lots of work swapping boxes untill I can do it in the comfort of me new garage next year (when its built lol) :D
