I have to take out the hole cv axel to change it? but i was planning to change them both when i first have it outIt depends on whether it's the exterior cv or interior?
Front, yeah of course it's. but im was hoping do it tomorrow. And wondering if i needed transmission fluid or notFront or rear, it's a good chance to change the oil in the differential as well.
You sure you have located to a CV?
Which transmission you asking about? The gearbox transmission has nothing to do with axle CVs.
Or are you talking about driveshaft CVs from transfer box to axle?
From the front wheel and in?
I thought it go in to the transmission gearbox?
Or are i'm all wrong im?
I put a photo to show what axle i was meaning

Just be sure your 100% understanding your work.
Ok so that looks like a short shaft ( not in best condition) so when you attempt the work aslong as you are jacked up on stands one side then you should not lose any oil.
