Hi Ming
Thanks for the reply.
I am not that bright sorry its a 5 door.
Just do not know how I can move the window down?

Pete

mine did same

press switch as if you are lowering window - then with tailgate open gently tap glass down with your hand - mine went down eventually !!!

Thanks for reply.
I eneded up taking rubber seal off around the window and undoing all the bolts for the window guides and then very slowly edging the window clamps away from the window.
What idiot at Landrover mixed metals together???

Pete

Sorry Chris I thought I had done a reply.
I bought a new one with a years warranty from Electric Windows Direct who have Buy It Now on e bay Price £88.90 inc VAT & PP.
Same make as original one fitted.
Far better though no mixed metals and came all greased and ready to fit saved a fortune.

if it' not too late, you can get a spanner in to the clamp bolts even with the window fully up - I have done it myself. You can see the bolt head on the hinge-side clamp (the more difficult of the two) and you can get a spanner on it but you can't do both (i.e. see and get spanner on) at the same time - you have to eyeball the position of the bolt then fiddle the spanner into the right location by feel.
