Remove the door card, as stated and carefully peel the waterproof membrane partially back to gain access to the latch/solenoid. There is a multi pin connector above the latch...just follow the wires and disconnect.
You will see the Torx retaining screws on the edge of the door, remove them and the latch assembly lifts out.
If you tear the membrane, don't worry, you will not be the first !! just use duck tape to fix.

changed the solenoid, put original lock back on with replacement solenoid, works but when indicaters on solenoid buzzes and when first go to car with engine not on fuel guage registers full, soon as starts fuel guage goes back to normal, any ideas

Strange one that. I would be surprised if the solenoid was at fault, given that the indiactors are flashing etc. It would seem that there is a spurious signal reaching the BCM, causing the solenoid to operate. Usually, those motors fail by not releasing the latch.

Are the springs in the switch (outside handle) good? I think they often fail so the handle is sloppy and might activate.

Is it perhaps a dodgy earth in the back behind the side panels, especially if it has a tow at fitted.
