Hi,

Anyone used a T300 on the TD4 2002? I am buying one for an MGF but wondered (due to the similarities in engine management) if they work on the Fl1.

Thanks, also any special lead / connector requirements.

If you mean the T3000+ from what I read on the rover site, on a Freelander K series it could read trouble codes (including pre odb2 1.8 petrol), and with a special cable, program fobs on all 4 engine models of Freelander 1.

out of curiosity wonder if this is the answer to debs problem with getting her new keys reprogrammed

a lot cheaper than the £400 quoted

The t300 is also available on amazon uk, i'm thinking about getting one as i only got one key when i got my freelander, after readind debs post i thought i'd better get a spare key.

It looks like a good bit of kit if it does what it says if it can program landrover keys, as blank keys and transponder chips are available and inexpensive.

they don't look bad, as long as the description is correct , see the reviews dont look bad

not sure if they only work with obd2 compliant vehicles

just for information but emailed the company that sells the t300 and they informed me it doesn't work with the freelander

company was called cardiac.co.uk

its supposed to have different software compared to the discoveries

just wished to give a heads up incase someone was thinking of buying one

they said the only one they sell that works is a sp81 which is very expensive
